What Causes Pain In Hips And Buttocks On Walking For Short Distances?

I have trouble walking after about 5 min my hips and buttock area start to get a dull ache and to keep moving is very painful. I have to stop and sit down, then I am able to go a little further. I am a female 57 years old. It seems to have started over night, about a year ago. It is getting worse just doing the house work I find, I have to do it in sections, or I am in major pain. I have to sit the pain in legs just standing is painful , moving unbearable pain. Well come to HCM
This could be due to spinal condition there must be some disc degenerative disease and this need to be ruled out, till then you can try some NSAID (Non-steroid Anti-inflammatory drug) and best option would be "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day" have bed rest, hope this information helps, take care.
