What Causes Pain In Gums Radiating Along The Side Of Nose To Eye?

one of my tooth broke off and just have the outer piece. it was hurting but them it stop[led. now i felt something in my check going up toward my eye along side of my noise. when i push on it it hurts feels like it is swollen and hurts. I can not get to appointment until next week. what can i do

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns....

As per your complain in case if the pain is in and around the same location where you have a broken tooth then there is a possibility that that there is activation of infection in the tooth that is leading to progression of infection below the root tips of the tooth and pain on cheek and side of nose progressing till the eye is radiating pain from infected tooth..
If it is not due to infection in tooth other cause can be sinus infection..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and x ray of the tooth can help in diagnosis..
Dentist can advise antibiotics and painkillers and an appropriate treatment of the tooth like root canal treatment or extraction depending upon tooth condition..
In case if it is sinus infection antibiotics, painkillers, decongestants and steam inhalations can help..
