What Causes Pain In Groin Area?

I was working out and was doing lunges, on my right side I felt pressure in my right groin area. When I run, it hurts in my crotch area, mostly on the right side. I can do squats and be fine but the running motion and lunges hurt. Any idea what this can be?

Hello and welcome.

It does sound like a hernia, but I cannot be sure with just an online discussion. So please do visit a doctor and get an ultrasound examination conducted. A hernia could be the most likely cause.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
