What Causes Pain In Ears And Head After A Tonsillectomy?

It is day 6 after my tonsillectomy and I am in excruciating pain right now, i am crying so much i have literally never experienced pain like this and i have a high pain threshold. No one warned me about this and i am pretty pissed off about it. If i knew it would be like this i would never have done it. When will i feel better? The pain is getting worse day by day and I can t take it any longer. I have severe pain in my ears, face, neck, head and chest, and obviously throat. The pain medication barely helps.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
thanks for your query,
post tonsillectomy, do get pain in ear, because ear and throat shares same nerve supply.

Kindly report your treating surgeon for pain killers.
