What Causes Pain In Chest And Shoulder?
Hi! I am a 32 year old software professional.i am from India but livin in NewZealand.past 2 months I am experiencing chest pain,first it was in the right side now i feel on the left side and left arm and palm and fingers.I went to the city hospital thrice and have done my ECG and BP all are normal.I have even seen a cardiologist referred by my doctor.i have passed my TMT test also.doctor says ECG and TMT all good.I have done my blood test...all is normal but my VItamin B12 is little low..Little deficiency..so taking B12 injections.till now taken 2 injections in weekly interval but still feel the pain in my chest left arm,shoulder ,back ...so what is the reason for this pain..the doctor says may be acid reflux so takin gaviscon after meals. Can vitamin B12 deficiency can cause all of these symptoms or is it something else?? (note::I am a vegetarian)

1.The history and symptoms suggest more of cardiac causes - but sine all needful investigations are done, the next possible cause gastric cause as your doctor suggested medication - thats fine.
2.I would recommend to have multiple small portions of food in 3-4 hours gap will give you relief in long term.
3.The other possible cause which can cause this kind of abnormalities are - positional abnormalities.
4.The spine problem could give similar symptoms - as degenerative changes and positional abnormalities.
5.In the case i would recommend to do some simple back exercises and little workup - this will give relief if its is due to muscle - skeletal pain.
