What Causes Pain In Cervix During Intercourse?
hi there just a questin that I tin have asked twenty doctors so far, I have a problem with what it feels like my cervix ever since ive had my daughter I am unable to have sex without it hurting my cervix. im nervous hat something is being missed as its never happened beforeand I have been with the same person.

This is Dr Amit. Pain during intercource is called as dyspareunia in medical terminolgy. There are many reasons for pain during intercourse like 1.Vaginismus- This is a common condition. It involves an involuntary spasm in the vaginal muscles mainly caused by fear of being hurt.
2.Vaginal infections-These conditions are common and include yeast infections.
3 Problems with the cervix (opening to the uterus) and due to dryness of vagina or improper lubrication.
When this occurs the pain can be resolved if the female becomes more relaxed if the amount of foreplay is increased or if the couple uses a sexual lubricant. And most of the cases resolved by its own.
So i will advice you to spend more time in foreplay and use lubricants during sex and if the problem persist you can seek medical device
