General & Family Physician 's  Response
you are waiting for CT scan result. The most likely, this is due to metastasis of Prostrate cancer and this cancer is going to spread up to other bones including spine and this is causing back pain. Bone scan might be requested ton see sclerotic lesions on back. If feeling too much back pain, analgesics may be offered like naproxen sodium tablets or Ibuprofen etc and then further follow up with oncologist. TURP could be offered if suitabe(Transurethral resection of prostrate) and alpha blockers such as tamsulosin or doxuzocin could be prescribed.
