What Causes Pain In Ankle To Knee, Knot Below Knee After Getting Loud Popping Sound From Knee?
My nephew is having problems, couldn't tell if it was his ankle, with the pain going up to his knee. Can hardly put weight on leg to walk. Two days ago his knee make a loud popping sound. Now he has a knot below his knee on his leg about the size of an egg. He is in a lot of pain and has not been out of bed. He has no job and ofcourse no insurance.
it looks like that your nephew must have some ankle sparin or injured his meniscus. I would recommend you to apply ice to his knee and apply a crape bandage . this will decrease swelling around knee . if I would be his treating doctor I will advice him some pain killer as well. I would also like you to warn you that If swelling does not do down in 2 weeks you should visit a orthopaedic doctor. He may like to get an MRI for your nephe's knee.
