I was in an automobile accident 2/18/14 and have spinal arthritis and ddd of the entire spine. Because of the extent of the accident I was taken to the hospital and a ct scan was done - which indicated there was no obvious fracture of the spinal proceses but the report did say --- abnormality of the mid sternum appears to be artifactual. I continue to have pain in my chest and hip and also in my clavical area. At the time of the accident my clavical area was really quite painful both in the front and the back. In looking at the ct scans of my ct, thoracic and lumbar I can't detect anything but the ddd , scolosis and arthritis of the spine. What do you think this pain may be and who do you think could pinpoint the cause. I see a rhem. physical med. dr. and neurosurgeon for this other issues. Thank you for you help.
