General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to HCM!
I appreciate your concern regarding the pain during intercourse. Nothing to worry about it.
Most of the time it is due to Psychological problems. Anxiety, depression
Your pelvic floor muscles tend to tighten in response to stress in your life.

Not having enough foreplay (kissing, touching, etc before penetration) can result in insufficient lubrication of your vagina and hence penetration becomes painful.
Involuntary spasms of the muscles of the vaginal wall (vaginismus) can make attempts at penetration very painful.

Treatment depends upon the cause like you can use lubricant gels to facilitate the easy penetration, try to avoid stress, relax, enjoy more time in foreplay that will lubricate naturally.

If you do not get any improvement, then you may have to visit your gyne doctor for proper assessment.
Wishing you a happy married life.
