What Causes Pain Between The Breast Bone While Taking Deep Breath?

I have severe pain between the breast bone and hurts when breathing deeply. I also feel bloated. I do have acid reflux. I started yesterday to take Aloe Vera Juice and Heartburn free form the Wholefood store. I also took a Peptaid AC earlier, and just took a Prevacid. I am worried about maybe having an Ulcer.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Severe acid reflux symptoms can be associated with ulcer formation. If your symptoms do not improve with the use of your medication then you can see your doctor for an assessment.

To diagnose an ulcer, you would need imaging tests to be done.

It is possible to have severe GERD that is not responding to medication.

You may need to alter your diet to reduce your use of spicy/acidic/fatty or fried foods.

I hope this helps
