What Causes Pain Between Shoulder Blades And Ribcage?
i have pain between my shoulder blades and in the upper right rib cage area on my back. This pain seems to get better as soon as I eat but a little while after I have eaten the pain starts and I burp and have indigestion. I do not have a gall bladder and my neck and shoulders feel tight and ache. An MRI was done a couple of months ago and the Dr told me I had fatty liver and to loose some weight. I am hoping if cancer were present it would have shown up on the MRI. The MRI did show some degeneration in the 7th (i think) vertebrae. The pain is getting worse and more frequent. Is this serious and what should i do?
Hello I have studied your case and I think this pain and Indigestion is due to gall bladder removal and fatty liver. At present you can not digest alcohol, fatty foods. So if you take any fat in diet than it can cause pain and burping. I would suggest you to avoid alcohol and smoking. Also you should not take heavy fatty diet. You should also try to loose some weight and also you need to start tablet Liv 52. This will increase strength of your liver. You can also start little exercises to loose some weight. I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. Thanks
