What Causes Pain Below The Ribcage Post Gallbladder Removal?
mygalblader was removed about 10 weeks ago, but i stillhave pains in my lower right quadrent right below my rib cage it is not surface pain and cant be palpatated.it feels like before my galblader war removed. ive had two mri s and a scope everything appears normal and healed properly, but the pain continues.bdspeer

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query gallstones , inflammation of the muscles of the rib cage , damaged liver , inflammation of the pancreas or reflux of acid , trauma or appendicitis . The symptoms also occur post gallbladder removal , in this case one has to change its life style specially eating habits . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy or physical examination. Doctor may also order liver function test and treat it accordingly . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for muscle bone problems . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
