My good friend has been down since yesterday with pain in the muscle behind his left knee. He put ice on it thinking it could be a torn muscle, Cannot bend the knee because of major pain behind it. Later today he suddenly lost all feelings in that area and fell on the floor and could not lift himself back up. He has two stints in his arteries, had several previous heart attacks and is taking insulin for diabetes. Can this be connected to a cardio vascular problem or diabetes or both or could this a clogged artery in his leg that causes all that pain. He will be seeing a VA doctor tomorrow, but as a friend I am trying to acquaint with these type of symptoms.
