What Causes Pain Behind The Diaphragm?

.I recently had a ruptured cyst. After the pain in my lower right side subsided I had pain behind my diaphragm and then later moved up to my right shoulder. The doctor said that the blood & fluid had gone up into that area.

Hi,

Is it an ovarian cyst? Fluid accumulation due to ovarian cyst is very less so it may not cause the problem.

Which cyst have you ruptured? Possible causes like hepatitis or cholecystitis may lead to radiating pain to the right shoulder.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Please get an ultrasound of the abdomen done, then consult your surgeon, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
