What Causes Pain Behind Ribs In Chest, Lightheaded Feeling And Fatigue?

I am a 39 year old female, I have homozygous Factor V Leiden, with a history of DVT s. A few days ago I started experiencing pain behind my ribs, feels like bubbles in my chest. The pain is persistent and stabbing feeling much like it does when you swallow an air bubble but longer lasting. I get light headed often, am tired, and often feel like I am short of breath.

Thanks for posting this question on HCM!
I can understand your problem.

In view of your history being suffering from DVT due to homozygous factor V Leiden, the presence of chest pain, difficulty in breathing, fatigue are highly suggestive of pulmonary embolism (the dislodged thrombus from the leg veins get blocked in the lungs blood vessels causing death of the tissues).

You are advised to visit ER immediately for urgent medical care.
Best of your health.
