What Causes Pain At The Shoulders And Hip While Having Lupus And Arthritis?

I have lupus and arthritis at my age,66. I m having very much joint pain in my hips and shoulders. My doctor gave me pain medicine for that and it helps. Isn t there medicine to help with joint inflammation. It seems to me years back I was taking something to help with that.

Hello,

You have a history of lupus, lupus may get complicated to Arthritis causing redness, swelling, pain & inflammation in the joints.

Arthritis or Osteoarthritis in the shoulder or hips may cause pain & discomfort. You are suggested to do regular exercises.

Visit ER, get tests (CCP, CRP, ESR, RF) for Arthritis done. Your treating doctor may suggest you physiotherapy. Exercises of the joints cause arthritic pain to reduce. Exercise regularly.

You may be prescribed NSAIDS medications to ease you from pain.
