What Causes Pain And Tingling Sensation On Leg Post Arizona Bark Scorpion Bite?

I was just stung in the leg by an Arizona Bark Scorpion. I have pain in the site of the sting and the lymph nodes in my groin, but I took a half of a Benadryl and 2 tylenols. About 30 min-1 hour after the sting, my face and tounge are numb and tingling. Is this ok? And why?
