What Causes Pain And Tingling Sensation In Hips Radiating To The Legs?

This event has occured three times over the last month. I stand up from my bed and suddenly a wave of tingling and pain starts around my hips and travels down my legs, this causes me to loose feeling and I have to sit. the pain and tingling continues for about 2 to 3 minutes,then disapates. My legs are not very responsive for about 10 minutes. I have been experiencing palpatations for a long time, mycardiologist says he doesn t know why.I am a 62 years old women, in good health other then my jumpy heart.

I really appreciate your concern, if these are the symptoms of tingling and palpitation then it needs to be sent for CT of brain and EKG just to rule out the possibility of any systemic disease if these turns unremarkable then the symptoms that you have may be nonspecific or it may be due to some functional disorders and it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
