What Causes Pain And Tenderness On The Right Side Of The Head?

The right side of my head, especially behind my ear, is hyper-sensitive to touch, and I get tinges of stinging pain there enough to make me wince. I thought I might have an infection, but my temp is normal. I think I have a high threshold for pain, but this is starting to concern me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be swollen lymph node or mastoditis. You can start on a short course of antibiotics for five to seven days. As of now analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
