What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Arm?

Earlier today i was at work spraying sanitizer out of a spray bottle when my middle finger on my right hand got locked down and it was really hurting my arm. i tried and tried to move my finger up and it wouldn’t work. i had to forcefully open my finger with my left hand. and when i looked at my right arm it was really swollen. the swelling has gone down but when i make a fist with my right hand it hurts my whole forearm, what is going on?
