What Causes Pain And Swelling In Right Side Of Face With Headache?
right side of my mouth teeth side of my face and headache. mouth hurts too much to eat. I recently had a dental visit so I don t think its my teeth. Took advil but not working well enough. Bought some sinus meds but not sure that its that either still in pain. my face feels swollen but isn t noticable
As per your query you have symptoms of pain and swelling in right side of face with headache which seems to be due to facial space infection due to infected tooth in your oral cavity and it is travelling through spaces and leading to your symptoms.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit oral physician once and get complete examination done. You should get OPG ( full mouth X-ray) to find out exact lesion and start treatment accordingly.
You should get root canal treatment of particular tooth if it is localized infection and go for specific treatment as per infection. You should maintain oral hygiene of oral cavity.
You should take proper oral course of antibiotics along with antiinflammatory medications.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well soon. Dr. Harry Maheshwari
