What Causes Pain And Swelling In Navel During Menstruation?

Hello, i am 52 yrs old, i noticed my navel started swelling after the delivery of my twins 16yrs ago. I have pains on the navel during my menstral cycle. I was adviced by a doctor to take depo shots to stop the menstral cycle since menopause has not started, that depo shots reduced the size of the swell but, right now even with the depo shot the menstral cycle is still happen. What should i do now and what could be wrong with me?

I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given here chances of umbilical hernia need to be ruled out else this is nothing to take anything with other histories in my opinion better get done the sonography test, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
