Hello,
Your symptoms are indicative of
venous insufficiency,
lymphedema, underlying health conditions like liver or kidney disease, swelling can also be suggestive of congestive
heart failure. Restrict salt intake, avoid standing for a long time, if obese do regular exercises and maintain healthy weight.
Monthly hormonal changes can cause fluid retention when you have your menstrual period is normal but may cause your legs and feet to swell. Take home made nutritious food, avoid full fat dairy products, refined flour,
trans fat, etc. Take more boiled food and fruits, nuts, vegetables.
Pregnancy and hormonal changes can also cause such symptoms to occur. Wearing compression stockings are helpful.
Change body positioning to reduce water retention. Taking diuretics is helpful. Get clinically examined by a GP, get required blood tests like albumin blood tests, liver and kidney function tests,
urinalysis, echo, blood electrolyte level test, X-ray, and other imaging tests, etc. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected and severity of the symptoms. To get rid of pain you can take
naproxen, one stat after food and when required, You should include anti-inflammatory food in your regular diet.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
