What Causes Pain And Stiffness In The Neck?

My neck is is stiff with a little bit of pain. My throat hurts a little. My throat is red. It has small white bumps on it. I went to the doctor this past Monday. I do not have strep. The doctor did say that i have outer ear infection of both my ears. Do i need to see my doctor?

Hello,

There are many reasons for neck stiffness. Most common cause are related to our lifestyle like sleeping in wrong position, sports injury, poor posture (during working at computer, watching TV, reading book and more), repetitive motion like dancing and swimming. So that neck stiffness is not usually related to pathological cause. White rash inside your mouth, you may have candida fungus infection which can be treated by antifungal medications for 10 to 14 days.
