What Causes Pain And Redness On Sutures?
Hi. I had a bunyon operation and had disolving stitches , at the end of the cut I was having pain and there was redness, I had the operation done Oct 25 2011, I was cleaning the red spot and the skin lifted off and the stitch was sticking out a bit. What should I do?

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that the chances of infection is very likely and in m[y opinion the area of wound need to be kept very clean this is the best option have, for the symptomatic relief "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day would be beneficial, have a nice day.
