What Causes Pain And Pressure In Lower Back Extending Towards Groin And Thighs?
Good day! I have been feeling pain in my lower back for a week now. It is more of a feeling of heaviness in my lower back up to my buttocks affecting my groin and causing pressure on my thighs. It worsens when I m standing for a long period of time. I have been given voltaren 50 mg and have been taking it for 2 days now. The pressure on my thighs is relieved but there is still heaviness on my lower back. I don t have problems with urination. But could this be a symptom of a kidney problem?
Hello, I would suggest continuing the medication for pain as advised. Drink plenty of fluids. Minimum of five litres a day. Get an ultrasound abdomen and xray kub done. cranberry juice can be taken. stop taking any calcium supplements because this might lead to increased risk of stone formation. If any stone is detected, depending on the location of the stone and size treatment can be planned accordingly. treatment plans include either medical management, or giving shock waves or performing ureteroscopic removal of stones. thanks for seeking advise. do revert back for any further queries
