What Causes Pain And Itching On The Left Shoulder And Neck?

Hi, I have pain, tingling and itching on my left shoulder and neck. I feel crummy, sore muscles, many of the symptoms of shingles, but no rash, just a few itchy bumps. This has been going on for several weeks. Can one have shingles and not get the blistery rash?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to shingles. Not all people with shingles develop a blistering rash. The rash may develop in one to two weeks or not at all. I suggest you to use antiviral tablets and antiviral creams to relief the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
