What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Upper Abdomen?

6 months ago, i started having issues in left upper ab area of my body and doctors prescribed me Pantaprazole and Omeprazole because they thought it was ulcer and acid reflux. Since then the pain did not go away at all and now a week ago I had a CT scan done which shows the possibility of Crohn or Ulcerative colitis but the doctors are not sure until they do the Colonoscopy so my question is should i keep taking pantaprazole or no?

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Based on the investigations if there is no acid peptic problem then drug like pentaprazole and omeprazole is unlikely to help. In such a situation my advice is to discontinue that. But because of either of those drugs there is some relief, you may continue. Then wait for the final diagnosis and follow the newly advocated treatment. Thanks.
