What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Shoulder And Numbness In The Finger?

I suffered a compression injury to my neck about 8 months ago. I had pain in my shoulder for about 2 months, numbness in the index finger tip and loss of power in tricep. I do not have any pain but 8 months down the line my index finger still feels a bit different and I sometime get the odd ache in the shoulder. Do you think this is a permanent injury?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
it may be the result of problem in neck
for example pinched nerve or brachial plexus injury or herniated disc compressing cervical 7 _8 .you should not worry and see the neurophysician as this may simply be lack of physiotherapy and proper nutrition of nerves .nerve injury somewhere in its way should be evaluated.
