What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Leg At Night?
My mother (76yrs old) started having pain in her left leg 5 days ago from hip to ankle at night. It is keeping her from sleeping. She describes it as a pain/ache that feels like it is deep in her leg and hip. The pain got worse yesterday. It bothered her while sitting and got worse when she tried to go to bed. She described it as also having a burning feeling last night. Mom has Tremor dominate Parkinson s and has a very frail thin build. She does some home exercises as directed by PT to help her from her natural tendency to lean to her right. Her rest is very important. Do you feel it is sciatica. What would you recommend to try?

It might be Sciatica, can try some vitamin B complex supplements or pyridoxine tablets. However it is better to check her blood sugar level and serum calcium level to rule out other conditions which can cause the above symptoms.
