Have pain when putting weight palm down, extending my wrist downward, grasping with weight in hand, and a burning sensation from tim to time during relaxation. Pain is not in the snuffbox area but directly below. I think its my scafoid. Opinions thanks
Hi Welcome to healthcaremagic I have gone through your query and understand your concern.Burning pain and sensation point towards nerve compression or injury. Its treatment is Mecobalamin and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. But to clearly exclude scaphoid you need to take x ray of wrist AP view in ulnar deviation and oblique view. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you. Wishing you a good health.
