IT IS DUE TO NERVE IRRITATION AROUND THE VEIN THAT WAS PUNCTURED.IT IS CALLED TINELS SIGN. :-)
GIVE IT SOME TIME..IT WILL SETTLE.
IF WITH REDNESS USE WARM COMPRESS OR USE TOPICAL HEPARIN OINTMENTS.
