What Causes Pain And Breast Discharge While On Medicine For Migraine?

I went to my local doctor 4cdays ago complaining of pain and milk discharge from 1 breast. Also, I have been having migraines for years now that only goes away when I take 2 Advil Migraine pills. In recent months migraines have increased, sometimes as frequent to 1 everyday, giving relief sometimes to 4 Advil Migraine pills, which is double recommended dose. My doc said that I have a pituary adeoma and was prescribed dulo neuobin and given a shot of votaren and was told to come back in a week so that a blood test vcan be done. I was told that I have a benign tumor in my brain and that it wasnt life threatening. My question is, how can this be determined by just a physical exam? Will I need to have it removed? I wear glasses and was rrecently told by my eye doctor that my eyes have gotten worst

My dear friend,

The breast discharge you are getting is not the side effect of Advil Migraine tablets. It is due to the adenoma (tumour) you are having in your pituitary gland. The same tumour is giving you severe headache, which you are labelling as Migraine.

Now it seems that your pituitary tumour is increasing in size. It has started compressing on your eye ball and thus has affected your vision also.

My friend, though it is a benign tumour, it creates a space occupying lesion within the skull. The skull is a bony compartment having almost no distensibility. Hence the increasing tumour will press on the brain tissue and the adjacent organs. This increasing pressure also may press on the compartments of the fluid within the brain and the spinal cord (CSF). If the circulation of CSF gets blocked, there is a risk of developing Hydrocephalous in which the head starts getting wider. This will affect the intellectual as well as organic functions of the brain. Also the function of spinal cord may get affected. The chances of paralysis in such advanced cases cannot be ruled out.

Please, I urge you, do not neglect this tumour. If it is growing, get it removed surgically by the neurosurgeon ASAP. Pain killers is not the treatment for any tumour in the skull or bone, it is just a stop gap relief.

I hope you will take my advice positively and go for the scientific treatment.
