Hello,

There are certain tests that can be given but if you have done a physical exam by a doctor, then, I am not suggesting those.

Rather, I suspect you have a problem with constipation. You can take a laxative on a regular basis. Eat a fiber-rich diet.

Do not delay your daily bowel movement. Every day go to the bathroom at a fixed time of day.

OTC Pain relievers can be taken if the pain is too much. Diet has to be adequate and fiber must be there, repeating it. By the way, you should have told me any medication you are on.

Follow these guidelines above and see how it responds for 10 days. Otherwise, after 7-10 days, post another question or you can contact me.

Do not worry. Any further problem, I will give you more diagnostics and treatments.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
