Hi Doctor, for last few months i am feeling that my xiphoid process is enlarged, i can feel it from outside , it seems that it became bit larger in size and i am feeling uneasy in that particular chest area. There is no such painbut if i bent my body to the back then the xiphoid process can be felt significantly. Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Enlargement of xiphisternum may be normal and probably require no treatment as it is not having any pain. However you can get its CT scan to rule out any pathology. You are having respiratory problems while climbing and running. For this you need to get your heart and lung function tests to know the cause. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
