What Causes Pain Above The Heel On The Right Foot?

My right foot hurts just above the heal. Really just one spot about the size of a quarter. It hurts when I walk or touch it. I do have type 2 diabetes but I don t feel numbing or tingling. When I wear shoes I feel better but after taking them off to walk my foot hurts.

eg: lsee do ESR level to exclude infection take anti inflammatory and analgesic and do uric acid level and drink water a lot measures blood glucose levels
