What Causes Pain A Blood In Diaper Of A Child?

Just now my son who is 3 yrs old told me he wants to urinate but because he was wearing his diaper i said go ahead but he cried and said it was painful so when i removed his diaper i saw a drop of blood we went straight to the bathroom and washed him then he said finished and no more pain. Do i need to bring him now to the doctor
