What Causes Outbreak Of Pus Filled Blisters All Over The Face?

Hi. It started with me popping my white heads on my nose and chin. I took a shower and used one of my razors and shaved my upper lip area. I then had tiny white heads there. Soon there after a pimple appeared on chin and upper lip. They were pus filled at first. After I popped them my face was out of control. Tiny little pimples developed all over and they had clear fluid in most of them. Now I have them in my hairline and on scalp. I don t see them anywhere else on my body but they seem to now be spreading onto my hand. One just appeared on the top of my right hand. I popped it and it was clear fluid. It burned. I also started plucking my eyebrows tonight and as I would pick one of those clear filled pimples popped up. As i kept plucking more pimples appeared. If i pop them another one will appear right next to it. I do tend to pick a lot and i know that s an issue i am working on. I did buy Nizoral shampoo, Cetaphil cleanser and clean and clear moisturizer. I also bought panoxyl spot on treatment. Not sure if it s working due to my picking.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of outbreak of pus filled blisters all over the face which occurs because of allergic reaction to any ingredient and because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and clogging of dead skin and bacteria leads to formation of pus in that and due to impaired immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash your face daily with cold water and face wash containing salicylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelaic acid which is good for blisters. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocycline, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. You should drink plenty of fluids and avoid oily, sharp and greasy food.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
