Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it is true that antibiotic intake can cause
Oral Thrush as antibiotics destroy the normal bacteria present in the mouth along with the harmful bacteria and it leads to overgrowth of fungus/ yeast in the mouth leading to cheesy white coating..
But taking the antibiotics will cause Thrush during the antibiotic intake and not at such a later stage..
As of now Thrush can be due to compromised immunity while other causes can be
dry mouth etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like microscopy of the coating from tongue can be done..
You can be advised antifungal mouthwash like Nystatin,
Clotrimazole lozenges and oral intake of
Fluconazole,
Itraconazole etc along with plenty of Probiotics like Yogurt and garlic..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
