What Causes Occasional Stomach Upset, Coughing, Fever And Runny Nose?
My 14 yr old daughter has had a cold x 2 wks. Started high fever last night and today. 103.6F. Saw the dr. Rapid strep normal. Chest X-ray normal. She has non productive cough, stuffy nose, some sob, occasional upset stomach and her ear exam was normal. What could this be?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the febrile condition and couple of weeks gone then it could be some infection apart from the viral infection and now it may needs some specific investigation like blood test, urine test culture test of blood and urine, clinical etiology is must, it may be mycobacterial infection or parasites hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
