What Causes Obstruction In One Of My Nostrils?

I am having an issue with my nose. I started a few months ago. When I blow my left nostril something moves in the way and doesn't let the mucus come out like a flap. Then when I breathe in it moves out of the way. I am just trying to find out what may be the cause.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
It should be due nasal polyp. Polyp is a hanging tissue attached to the mucosa of nose by a stem. It can give rise to symptoms such as nasal blockage and running nose. They may be associated with asthma or allergies.
You should consult you ENT surgeon. Polyps can be removed by simple operative procedure or managed by medicines.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks for using HCM.
Do ask if any further question is there.
Take care.
