What Causes Numbness In Lips,irregular Breathing And Dry Mouth?

i have someone here that all of the sudden started having sharp pains beneath his ribs, his lips startedd going numb and he says he feels like he cant get enuff oxygen his breathing is irregular also. he is coherent but says its making him lightheaded and nauseated. mouth & lips are extremely dry having to take a wet washcloth to wet his lips and drop h2o into his mouth can u tell me what is going on please

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, he should rule out cardiac event for his symptoms.
So better to take him to cardiologist and get done blood pressure monitoring, ecg, 2d echo and stress test.
If all these are normal then no need to worry much.
