What Causes Numbness And Weakness In Limbs After Spinal Stenosis Surgery?

My friend has spinal stenosis and despite surgery still has numbness & weakness in her arms and legs. She also snorts cocaine and smokes pot every single night of her life... And has done so both before and after surgery. Is this making her condition worse?

hello,
welcome to HCM,
her symptoms may be due to the surgery but you have to tell me what type of surgery she had and where was the stenosis.you should consult a neurosurgeon with report of MRI.
numbness and weakness sometimes occur in cocaine abusers too.
so i think you should consult a deaddiction specialist too.
hope this is helpful.
regards.
