What Causes Numbness And Tingling On The Left Side Of The Body?
i have been getting numbness and tingling on the left side of my body along with cold hands a feet, heart palpatations and fast pulse rate suddnly came on and never had this before the hospital have no idea what the cause is. ruled out anxiety attack/panic attack. i do suffer with frequant headaches/migraines and severe back ache i am female, 27 years old smoker for 18 years i dont take substances family has history of heart problems i myself have a heart murmour/ and heart palpataions
Numbness and tingling sensation on the left side of the body may be due to nerve compression. If you are smoking for 18 years then it may lead to a heart problem. First, check your vitamin B12 and hemoglobin. Then do echocardiography for cardiac output. Also, check for nerve compression. So MRI of the spine will give you the best idea. consult a nearby physician and have checked.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
