Hi! I have a question about Adderall.I am a 27 year old male, 145 pounds, in reasonably good cardiovascular health. I was recently prescribed a low/medium dosage of Adderall (15mg 2x per day, recently lowered to 10mg). I have been using the medication as prescribed, no abuse. When on the medication, but not on the days off of it, I have experienced slight numbness, the feeling of strange temperature variation, and tingling sensations in my hands and feet. These sensations usually occur in only one limb, most frequently my right hand in the area corresponding to the innervation of the ulnar nerve. They can last from a few minutes to all day. The problem is not serious as yet, but I am concerned about these symptoms progressing or warning of a potentially dangerous or debilitating neurological or cardiovascular event should I continue the medication. I have a family and rely on my right hand in my career as a commercial and scientific artist. I have found very little acknowledgement of numbness or related effects from any professional medical source, though I continue to look. However, online medical forums are bursting with patients taking Adderall who are experiencing similar numbness, temperature sensations, and tingling, some resulting in serious problems. Do you have any ideas about what might be causing these sensations, and whether I should be concerned?
