I am worried what the long term effects are going to be from ankle injury that will be around 5-6 weeks before I obtain an actual diagnosis from MRI. The injury was an usual one that may have 3 separate dates that contribute to what is happening today. Where I am with it right now is inability to lay it flat due to the back of leg hurting when touching surfaces. Cannot comfortably place either side, outside of ankle hurts when anything touches certain areas, inside my little nub feels completely different than good leg and emits sharp pains if I lay it that way. I cannot place anything on top due to it feeling like my ankle will snap and intense pain. The bottom of my foot under toes feels swollen and my whole foot has had the pin and needles like a limb that s feel asleep. What kind of damage could I be looking at?
