What Causes Nose Bleeds After A Virus Infection?
My son was sick with a virus witch he ended up with blood shot eyes and had a fever off and on elevating up to 103. He s feeling better today but is eyes still are blood shot and he had to nose bleeds out of the blu. What could have caused this and should I be alarmed and bring him to the ER?

nose bleeding in viral fever may be related to dengue fever or chikengunya . if bleeding is severe then nasal packing should be done.. blood platelets count decreases, main cause for nasal bleed.. so FFP infusion is also needs to be done. adequate hydration should be maintained. and you should visit an ENT specialist nearby for proper check up.
