My 10yr old daughter just had a heavy nosebleed - a spongy pink mass about 2 cm also came out and it s really worrying me. What could this be? Do we need to call a Dr immediately? Bleeding has stopped though. She does suffer from allergy and seems to have a blocked nose most of the time....
Hi, It seems that he might be having soreness or ulcer in nasal mucosa due to allergic rhinitis causing bleeding from nose. A spongy pink mass you saw might be clotted blood mass came out. Nothing to worry, put some decongestant nasal drops. Avoid deep sneezing. Do not try hard push on nose to clear nasal blockage. Ok and take care.
