Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, This may sound odd, but i had a nose bleed in the shower. It only lasted about 1-2 minutes. I just finished a big session at the gym and was using earphones that only one earbud worked. Could that have caused it? Also i had a slight headache afterward, any links? Thank You!
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
No, this cant be caused by earphones or earbud and in most cases these are spontaneous bleeding due to broken nasa capillaries which may occur after excessive physical activity, cough or sneezing. Second headache may indicate nose bleeds related to high blood pressure so you need to check your bp and see if problem lies in this. At this point you should just lean your head and press nose. for 5 minutes. If bleeding repeats you need to see ENT doctor for further evaluation, but in most cases these are benign issues which dint require specific treatment. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
